Junior Advanced Open Water Diver
In the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course you will develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills such as the practical aspects and physiological effects of diving, the use of lights, compasses, computers and more, depending on your choice and personal interest.
To participate to the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course the following requirements are needed:
10-11-year-old Junior Open Water Diver must complete three Adventure dives and will become Junior Adventure Diver, they can dive only with a PADI professional or a certified parent/tutor and they cannot exceed the maximum depth of 12 metres.
12-14-year-old Junior Open Water Divers can complete three Adventure dives, becoming Junior Adventure Diver, or five Adventure dives and achieve the Junior Advanced Open Water certification: they must dive with a certified adult. To attend this course, you must be 15 years old, be a PADI Open Water Diver (or have an equivalent certification issued by another training organisation or be 12 years old for the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course).
