The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is one of the most famous and popular scuba diving course worldwide. To enrol to this course no initial scuba diving experience is needed; however, you must be able to swim, be 10 years old and produce a medical certificate to assess your good health. The young people who get the Junior Open Water Diver certification can dive in different ways, depending on their age. 10-11-year-old children can dive only if accompanied by a PADI Professional, by a parent or a certified tutor, without exceeding 12 metres of depth; 12-14-year-old children must dive with a certified adult.
Once completed the course, you can expand your scuba diving education choosing among the many courses available, both related to the one completed and/or a specialty course.
