The basaltic lava flows of Stromboli have reached the coast, creating black cliffs overhanging the sea, small bays, inlets and capes in a scenery of rare beauty. Below the surface of the water the escarpment starts, with underwater gorges, slight slopes, walls of stones, mud and areas colonized by Posidonia. Here, at 30 metres of depth, you can find the lairs of golden and brown groupers.
